Finding a Pace That Actually Fits.

Learning to slow down and live with a bit more intention.

Founder of PLANOURS - Kysemi - Self Portrait
Hi! I’m Kysemi.

(/ˈkiːˌsɛmi/ – sounds like “kee-seh-mee”)

I’m so glad you’ve found your way here.

After hitting a wall with burnout, I realised I needed a different way of doing things—one that didn’t involve losing myself in the process.

Simply Kysemi is where I document my journey of figuring out what it looks like to live with a bit more awareness and a lot less rush.

From Burnout to Finding My Flow

At the end of 2023, everything just felt heavy. Between a career in accounts and the “hustle” of a digital business, I was sacrificing my health for a version of success that didn’t even feel like me.

When my body finally hit the reset button, I had to stop and ask: “How can I build a life that actually supports my energy instead of draining it?”

That question changed my direction. I stopped chasing rigid productivity and started looking for a pace that felt natural.

I found my way back to myself by focusing on four things that light me up: Energy, Sight, Taste, and Roam.

Who I Write For

This space is for the jugglers—the ones trying to balance work, home, and their own well-being without losing their peace of mind.

It’s for anyone who wants to move through the world at a pace that feels like a deep breath.

Our Pillars of Exploration

Energy: Figuring out my natural rhythm through slow productivity and systems that actually help me feel good.

Sight: Capturing the quiet beauty of the world through weekly photography and a commitment to seeing things with fresh eyes.

Taste: Savouring the slow process of making handmade treats and finding great food, sometimes with a little help from creative AI.

Roam: Planning meaningful family adventures from Melbourne and beyond that actually feel restorative for everyone.
